kinect games

Kinect Games

With Xbox being the latest player on the block with a motion control system, it's no wonder they have the greatest potential with their new Kinect Games. At the moment, their new set of titles is not that impressive, I'm sure over the next few months we'll start to see some great stuff from Microsoft. With that said, we've made the work easier for you and have found the best games of the bunch so far:

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved It's not really the evolution the title leads you to believe, but this fitness product is a good first step at using Kinect as an exercise tool.

Kinectimals The minigames are shallow and repetitive, but Kinectimals is too lovable to stay mad at for long.

Kinect Sports This motion-controlled sports collection doesn't do much for solo players, but it's fun to play with friends both locally and online.

Dance Evolution Though the novel camera feature fuels some goofy fun, DanceEvolution only holds lasting appeal for dedicated dance fiends.

The Kinect Games you'll find on Xbox 360 are suitable for any age group or demographic. With excellent game-play thanks to the advanced Kinect sensor, these games will get out up off the floor and into a gamers universe not seen before.

Would you believe it's taken this long for the Xbox 360 to finally launch it's motion based sports package? Kinect is offering you a selection of six sports to chose from. If you included all of the events of track and field, it's actually more like 10 different types of sport. If you thought playing sports in front of your TV with a "wand" from Sony was fun, wait until you try it without any clunky devices in your hand. It's just, you, your Xbox Kinect, and your TV screen. I like to call it "Au Natural".

Turn your living room into a world-class stadium, bowling alley, soccer pitch or track-and-field arena. Kick it. Spike it. Even give it a little topspin. “Kinect Sports” features soccer, beach volleyball, bowling, table tennis, track and field, and boxing. Simple, intuitive and instantly fun, “Kinect Sports” delivers the ultimate party experience. Kinect Sports offers an interesting variety of games to play alone and with friends. It’s fun when it works, but it doesn’t always work. Having a bowling ball or a javelin stick to your hand or a boxer have a sudden spasms can ruin the experience. In the end that’s going to be the greatest challenge this Kinect game faces.

In conclusion, I'd say the new Xbox Kinect Sports package is a winning combination. If you're looking to play some challenging games and get great exercise along the way, this solution is definitely for you. The graphics are superb and the game-play is very fast paced regardless of your fitness level. With all of the great deals on hardware out there today, you really have nothing to lose. Get to your local electronic store, and test drive the new Kinect Sports today.
